SMRTNET - HIE Web Access
SMRTNET's basic service includes web based access (including mobile devices) to data contributed from SMRTNET members to supplement treatment by providers. This service does not require data entry on the part of the provider and provides view only access to existing data provided by contributing SMRTNET members.
- SMRTNET is mobile ready for most mobile ready devices (includes iPhones and iPads)
- Does not require and interface to the healthcare providers EMR system (view only access)
- Does require and internet connection for use
- Registration & Practice verification/identity proofing
- E-signing legal docs and SMRTNET rep creates access for provider
- Training provided by SMRTNET rep through user guides, webinars, etc. or on-site if necessary
SMRTNET - HIE Interface Access
SMRTNET Access with Web based service which provides credit for providers who contribute data to receive credit for Meaningful use requirements. HIE Interface Access is where providers contribute data as well as have HIE Access through a web based interface to supplement treatment by providers.
- An interface has to be built to work with a CCHIT certified existing EMR system.
- Does include web based access to SMRTNET for providers
- HIE Interface Access is mobile ready for most mobile devices (includes iPhones and iPads)
- HIE Interface Access has to be quoted and may vary due to the interfacing capabilities of the practice’s EMR vendor (HL7 V2 or HL7 V3, TLS or VPN connection etc. due to the ability of the EMR capabilities to transmit data to and from an HIE)
SMRTNET Direct Messaging
SMRTNET Direct Messaging comes with secure HIE Web Access and provides HIPAA compliant provider to provider or provider to patient secure email approved for transmitting PHI on a one to one basis. An ideal HIE service for providers within practices for secure referral to referral email, or for referral assistance to other providers. Direct Messaging will contain a referral template for secure patient referral communications. Direct messaging is mobile and iPad enabled.
- The web based email requires a data connection to use
- This email is HIPPAA compliant POP3 email which can be used through Outlook
- Email only transmits to other direct messaging recipients
- Ideal for rural providers who are referring patients to specialists in other communities
- Ideal for specialists who work with multiple in-patient facilities
- Ideal for smaller practice providers who are referring in and out of their service area to other providers in different areas
